Exclamation HELP!!! I'm Getting More Than Expected!!!

Well, I had put up a post that I was interested in getting a mustang named Reno. My mom and dad decided against it so they said that we weren't going to get any more horses until later. Well, my aunt in Texas wanted us to go stay with her and then she was going to go take us to the big expo in Huston or something like that. Well, my dad being a butt said I couldn't go to Texas and my mom decided I shouldn't go either. (Long story). Anyways, so my uncle still has 3 or 4 horses he has to get rid of, and my dad went behind my moms back and said he would take 2! That means that we'll have 3 horses, 2 goats, 7 chickens, 4 dogs, and what not, which I have to take care of because my mom is sick and they're not her animals so I don't worry about her, my sisters are toooo lazy to take care of their dogs and their 1 goat, and my dad puts everything on me. I'm not ready for 3 horses. I just wanted 1 more or just to go to Texas. I don't no what to do. I told him I didn't want them and he said it was a birthday present and I kept telling him I didn't want them! What should I do? I have to call my tata later to see what kind of horses they are and all that good stuff. I still need to get a job and now I have to take care of 3 horses!!!

Why would you dad buy two horses instead of just one? It just seems a little odd.

Wow that sucks. I'd just say "Look dad, I can only handle taking care of one more. So please just let me have one." Then phone for grandpa and get the info, go look at them and choose which one you like the best

You have an odd problem - usually people want more horses! LOL - But it really doesn't seem fair to you at all. Tell your Dad again that you do not want the responsibility of caring for 3 horses. If he doesn't listen tell him that he can take care of the 2 horses, or, he can pay you to take care of them. That way you earn money. Let him know you're serious, and talk to your Mom about it, maybe she can convince him. If not do what Cassidy said, just find them good homes and sell them.

KUDO"S to you for realizing your limits! Many people don't. (i'm one of them on caring for animals...lol)

As for the horses, if they want to sell them, how much and where abouts in texas are they located? Hubby is halfway convinced to get another one, though a pony is our first priority. But a second horse would be great as well.

I would like to have more horses later but gradually.

Blistering Winds:
My uncle lives here in Arizona. He sells his horses pretty cheap and they are well behaved. If you are interested I'll talk to him and let you know what kind of horses he has and all that.

Yeah. I never get help, even when I'm sick. It sucks but someones got to do it right? Sometimes I get really stressed and when my older sister makes me mad I usually punch a hole in my wall because I don't want to hurt her. When I told my little and big sister about me getting 2 more horses they were all "we can help you take care of them!" When I asked what they would do their reply was "you saddle them and everything and we'll take them for a 15 minute outing and then you cool them down and whatever you do after that." I was about to laugh my @$$ off! I have to call my uncle later and see if he still has those horses. I guess 1 wouldn't hurt, I mean my birthday is next month so why not right? I have nothing else to do.
