I can't hold back the tears as I read this. Big hugs to you and prayers for your comfort. That's so very sad and I could not be more sorry for you... such a tremendous loss. Will be remembering you in the days ahead.

mslwpk called and said they think it was a seperation of the placenta.The placenta was coming out first.All of it.

It could ba lesson to everyone.. always call your vet when it comes to pregnant mares and labour...

In general call your vet for any distress no matter how small it may be.. it could turn into something huge hence a death
