HELP. I need a dressage arena

I'm looking for a dressage arena, either to buy cheap (like under $1500) or make that is easy to put up. We have a wooden one with all these annoying pieces that fit together and you have to try to guess and shimmy things around to make it work. So anyone know of a cheap way to build one or make one or a place that sells them??

Do you mean like how to border one/ perimeter? How about with inexpensive poly chain from the home-store (eg H.Depot/ Lowes type) That would look neat & professional, and be not too expensive.

If you use PVC (very thin) and then big flower boxes for the letters it can look pretty nice!

Thanx guys. Anyone else have any suggestions? And also: If we use the chain, what do we attach it to? And what about the letters?

Heres some ideas- which you might be able to do yourself. (eg cutting holes in road cones.) Check out the LIL arena... PVC pipe and small chain would do that for real.

I've seen railroad ties used and also hummm what are they called, cyclinder bricks with the 2 squares in them, with either wooden or thick pvc pipe through the holes. Looks kinda neat because it alternates in height and also you can paint them - sorry hard to describe! lol

I have seen people use like cinder blocks (atleast i think that is what they are called those like figure eight style concrete bricks) and PVC pipes, I think it is pretty inexpensive just put the pipes in the holes in the blocks and voila! instant dressage arena, but you still need to get letters.

Might sounds silly, but why not just print the letters on normal paper (really BIG of course) and laminated the paper? There are laminating sheets you can get at Wal-Mart for like $2 or $3 that would work. You could also have it done at somewhere that does it professionally; probably cost a bit more, but honestly would probably hold up longer.
