How long have you been giving probios? Long term use can actually worsen this problem.

It can be given in beet pulp, or you can get the paste tube and give it that way.

Beet pulp is the by product of making sugar from sugar beets. It's a highly digestable forage product. And it can help to firm stools up depending on the exact case.

I would also recommend having a cbc run myself. It could be something like a low grade systemic infection.

what he needs is more fibre in his diet, before u start eliminating feeds from this problem i would get bloods done, but would get them done after the steriods
how much hay are u feeding? brown top hay is good, feed him as much as he pleases to eat,do u have a pic of his condition?
make sure u worm regularly and it is up to date
probiotics are ment to be gud
rationplus the supplement is fabulous

Have you ever had a fecal pulled on your horse?
And I think I would treat for sand. Is your horse fed/does he eats off the ground? Is the pasture sandy? Does your horse have access to any weeds that could be causing digestive upset?
