The bus is coming to Iowa! Some one has nominated Healing Heats with Horses as a potential recipient! They are very deserving they not only help horses but Children too, please check out their web site. They are Looking for people to help adopt, and foster horses. We have adopted one and fostered 2. She now has over 30 horses, it is incredible how hard they work, struggling with keeping the horses UTD of vacc, and farrier and well you all know how much it is to keep a horse, let alone rescue horses that need extra vetting and care. She helps neglected and abused children just like the horses. What a wonderful thing to help a child and have them help a horse and vice versa. I know when both the children and the horses go there they can feel loved. It is a non profit run all on donation project. I know the family goes with out to keep it running.

Recently, an application was submitted to you from Deb Hoyt of Healing Hearts with Horses.

I have helped as a volunteer there for six years to help at-risk kids (often abused & neglected) and save rescued horses.

What happens there? EXTREME MAKEOVERS within each of the precious kids.


Deb & Randy Hoyt give of themselves sacrificially (for example -- no air conditioning in the hot, humid Iowa summers, and a furnace that doesn't always work). They give everything back to the program to help the children and the animals. No child is ever turned away because they can't afford to pay.


Healing Hearts with Horses is a 501(c)3 non-profit and they deserve all the help you could give!!
