Post Help For A Long Mane

My arab has a long mane (foot or longer). I don't want to cut it's mane just yet because arabs are supposed to wear their manes long. So I was just asking for a few cool, good looking ideas of things I could do with a long mane. Also ways that I could tie or braid it to stay out of the way if I were treating a cut/irritation/applying medication ect.

That's called a waffle braid. Lots of people around here do them for gaming classes to keep their horse's manes out of the way of their reins while they are running.

There. A picture of her mane last summer. Its even longer now. So you can sorta see the coloring. It has the sun on it.

Running braids are really handy for long manes also. Its essentially half of a french braid that keeps long manes neat and out of the way.
