Help Finding My Mare's Dam

Hi All... this is all a little far-fetched, and I'm not REALLY expecting great results, but, I am purchasing a mare and would absolutely love if anyone with epinto or APHA membership to give me a hand. I would be happy to do something to help you at that is within my limits My pinto membership AND APHA membership just ended, and being a poor lil' college kid I can' afford to renew them. Anyways, can someone look up on the horse search this:

Mare that would be around 25 years old
Sorrel Overo with Blue eyes
On the small size between 14 and 15 hands (estimated by old owner)
In MI
Possibly located near Brooklyn, MI

Her old owner got her because the owners didn't pay their boarding, so she took her in exchange for back board and never got papers. A THOUSAND thanks to anyone that can try to get me any information.

I only have the barn name... this is why I'm looking for possible horses. On a different forum I'm on people help people find horses that fit criteria and post or e-mail the possible horses to them. I don't know any of that stuff; I am trying to figure it out.

Yeah, I found that out on the other forum. I don't know how people did it before, they must have tried different combinations of names. I just assumed you could on APHA because you can with Saddlebred.

Does she know the name of the people who did not pay the board? Maybe you could find out by calling APHA with that information BUT the problem is that you do not know if those people had her papers either. Did she ever have a coggins or anything with breed information on it? Do you know who their vet is?

She had coggins, but only the barn name was put on them. I will try to find out if she remembers the previous owner's name. I wouldn't know who the owner's vet is. The lady I contacted said she gave me all of the information I knew. I will see if I can get some info on the previous owner from her...
