Help!! How to convert .mp4 mobile video onto youtube? how to compress video mb size?

Hi I have a really good video of me riding one of my horses that I want people to critique me on however it is in .mp4 format so only quicktime and realplayer opens it, plus its 29.1 mb? Its doesn't bother me as I have broadband but I was just thinking of the others on here who would like to see it.

Also how do I get it onto youtube? And do you know how to convert .mp4 videos to avi or .wmv so I can edit it in windows movie maker?
