Helmets! (Just a question!)

How can you make sure that your helmet meets all of the ASTM standards? We are kind of looking into new helmets, but I was wondering how you can tell all of that technical stuff. Also, if you want, you can post links/pics of good helmets along with where you can buy them! Thanks so much!

I think most of the catalogs with say if they are approved or not. Also you can ask someone at a tack store. They should know all about it.

The helmet makers will have a lable stating what they are approved for. Look on the box or on the lable.

Check inside the helmet, there should be a label, that says ASTM approved, if its not there, then its not ASTM (they don't try to hide it, cause the want you to know they are ASTM, so that you will pay the big bucks for them! LOL) Mine is ASTM, and its not very hard to see it, though if i remember right, it is on a tag with a bunch of other writing, so you may have to read the tag, but if its not on a tag, then no ASTM (usually)!
