I hounestly dont see how they are so helpful when it's your neck that is more at risk.....BUT I always whare my helmet, better safer then sorry!!

I wear a helmet, and proudly. RARELY I dont wear one, but there is really no excuse for it. I should were on whenever riding.

I always wear my helmet. It's been drilled into me since my 1st lesson and I ride w/ a lot of younger kids at my barn, so being older than them, I feel a responsibility to set a good example for them. Besides, even though I trust my horse w/ my life, I still recognize that she is an animal w/ a mind all her own, so you can never be too safe...

I always wear a helment. We are required to wear them for lessons, and that is all I'm doing until I can get my own horse so yeah I always wear one

Unlike most of your answers i don't wear a helmet! i do if im in a pasture or an arena and i plan to run the horse, i dont when trail riding!

^ i ride english.

i always wear a helmet UNLESS i am competing in country english pleasure or jumping on a western horse for a minute. which hasen't happened in a couple of years. with the horses i ride, i wouldn't think about getting on without a helmet.
