I agree, everyone should be aware of the facts before they make a choice.

I couldn't agree with you more.

I do wear a helmet when I feel it is necissary, and almost always then I go on trail rides.

I SHOULD wear my helmet more, but unfortunatly I am a little bit absent minded! But that is not an excuse.

i wear it all the time, but sometimes like if i come straight from school and my trainer wants me to cool out her horse i dont.

LMAO...itz okay absent minded ppl get more excersize....

...I really SHOULD wear one more but such is life, like I said a couple times my decisions are based on facts....as I know Megz's are as well....but we did wear them quite often on the trails last yr tho hey??? Pretty good!

I always always ALWAYS ride with a helmet. Under no conditions will I not. Even my mare, who is so dead broke a bomb could go off and she wouldn't move, I wear one.

I feel naked when I'm not wearing one. Sometimes when I'm driving, I think I should be wearing a helmet. LOL!

I wear if it if its near by, but if i let autumn go graze sometime i just hop on without one..

I feel that everyone should wear them, because Ive ended up with a mild concussion while wearing a helmet. I wonder what wouldve happened if i wouldnt have been wearing one. I was on a horse who was VERY lazy, and bombproof , but he wasnt that day lol

Anyhow.. i think if you dont want to wear one ever, and take the risk, that is fine. Its your decision.

LOL. Did you see that "Medium" episode where the mom bought her little daughter a bike helmet and she thought it was so cool that she wore it to bed, bath, school, even school picture day? It was so cute.

Any and all horses are unpredictable. They are flight animals, it comes with the territory. You never know when you will land on your head, or get your head stepped on. It's the same reason we wear seat belts when we drive/ride in a car.

A helmet makes a whole lot of difference when your brains are involved.
