Hello, hope you don't mind my joining.

Hello,

i just thought i'd introduce myself

Im Tahlz and i am from Victoria, Australia.

I do realise that this is a site with mostly members from the USA but i thought that it would be nice to see how things in the horsey world work and go on in other parts of the world to.

A little bit about myself and my horse,
I have a Welsh Arab, Galloway who is a real gem, he is a fantastic jumper and im looking forward to start the new eventing season at the start of next year.

Looking forward to getting to know you all,
Tahlz

Um... YES we mind, please vacate the forum!

Totally kidding!! We are glad to have you! We have a few members from Australia and we love our Aussies

Now I have a silly question as a non-arab person. Is a Welsh Arabian a type of Arabian? (Like a Dutch Warmblood) Or is it a WelshxArab cross?

I love your horse's expression.

Welcome! Of course we don't mind you joining! lol!

I have a professor that's from Melbourne (or as he pronounces it "Mel-burn") which I understand to be in Victoria.

I'm actually curious to learn about how riding is different in Australia. There is a local custom saddlery in my area that makes Australian Stock Saddles and they do look quite different from the American western saddle. I really wanted one because they are hand made and made nearby, but I figured the resale value won't be so high because it is so custom fit to my horse. Not much of a chance to sell it to anyone.

But, again, welcome!
