Heavy elastic?

I'm looking for a place to get heavy elastic, like the kind that's on these side reins -

Since I have the materials to make a set, I'd rather do that. I just need the elastic.

Anyone have a source?

Either that or I'm going to try using latex rubber tubing. Weird to sew on, but I'll give it a try...

Why buy it when I can make it? Plus, I know Tiff needs smaller stuff so I know I can make it to fit her...

It is nice when you can just make it yourself.

That way you get EXACTLY what you want.

I'm making up some bucket hangers for a clinic I'm going to in a few weeks. I get the color, size, and style I want and the only thing I had to buy was the snaps.

I'm also always bugging HJ for her sources for making my stuff for me.
