Having a bowl movement after delivery?

did he do a test on the foal its like a blood test or some thing?

A mare cleans out her bowls in first stage labor. My Arabian didnt have a BM for almost 24 hours after foaling last year. Thats a little longer then the normal for my girls, but not much.

i have a 1/2 quarter 1/2 arabian mare that has had two foals and with both foals she went almost 24 hours before she had a bowel movement also.
