Im not sure.. .I know kincade leather saddles are pretty good, if that is the same brand. My saddle was cheap though.. And its holding out pretty good.. It was $150 U.S. for everything..

Are you wanting leather or synthetic saddle? Would you settle for secod hand saddle? I know i have heard of Kincade brand but cant pin point if its a good, reliable brand. Check out ebay, and type Kincade into the search engine and see what those saddle are going for.

Don't touch those Saddlecraft Saddles. They're not worth the money. They have a poor fit and they're uncomfortable to ride in. I rode in one when I was trying out my mare Fry.

Synthetic saddle Cleaning - A WATER HOSE! LOL

That's it!!

As for saddles, I don't know much about English. I do know your Silver Fox saddles are OK. Not the greatest. Ascots are also cheap, but ok as well. Again, not the greatest. But to start out, they are cheap, and pretty balanced. I have a Regent saddle that I LOVE. Cheap, but better quality than the other two.

If you dont want to spend much go for a Wintec or a Throwgood synthetic - they are well made, light weight and some models give you the option of changing your gullet as the horse changes shape - saves buying new saddles! They are easy to clean - much easier than leather!

On the subject of the girth - I wouldnt go for a string girth.

Oh gosh, don't go string girth on English! For one it looks aweful. For two, you want something MUCH sturdier and more reliable. Leather or a neoprene girth is what I opt for.

Both my English AND western
