Has Anyone Heard Of...

I'm purchasing a new mare and am trying to locate her sire's information. If anyone has APHA membership, could you possibly look up the stallion "King's Eternal Cowboy" for me? I believe he's a dun or buckskin tobiano. I know he's registered with Ptha, but I don't know if he is APHA... thanks in advance!!

Well thanks for looking... he must have only been ptha registered. I found the # for his owner/breeder, so I'll find out if he has a different APHA name

Can you look up by owners?
Possibly see if there are any registered by Michelle Porterfield

You might get that information by calling APHA.

Ok... here's the scoop for you...

That stallion doesn't have APHA papers. Double Thistle is Kings Eternal Cowboy's paternal Great Great Grandsire and APHA registered as was Decks Nifty Bid (KEC's paternal grandsire)..... his SIRE, Jody Dee Bars was not registered APHA as his dam Cowboys Color Deluxe (AQHA) has no APHA offspring. So in theory, he could get his papers, but doubtful at his age

Thanks Acme Acres... I GREATLY appreciate it! I got in contact with the mare's breeder and found out some information. The mare's dam was registered but didn't come with papers. She took her in exchange for back board. She was a sorrel overo with blue eyes. I guess the sire threw a lethal white, so he was gelded. Thank you so much for the breeding information, at least I have something to go on! Are any of those horses good at all (show horses or anything)?

AcmeAcres... how did you find out so much of his breeding? I'm curious as to whether his dam line is known or not... do you know this?
