I know how to use all the tools properly but i cant remember if when using the hard brush i should do short flicks or is it long strokes? Do u kno?

I'm not exactly sure but I know my friend (very popular around here for horse stuff) told me to do short flicks but run it thoroughly on the horse especially like the dandy brush and stuff.

Well to get dust and dirt out from inside the coat, you want to use short strokes and sort of flick your brush out. Use long strokes with a soft brush for wiping off residual dust, loose hair and for polishing. <small>[ April 22, 2004, 08:26 PM: Message edited by: MissBandit ]</small>

You want to use short strokes with kind of a "flick" at the end. That is so the dust gets swept off and not redistributed.
