I had brekky cooked for me and my pressy was vouchers from the kids.

Ones for brekky made by them, lunch too. Drink getting, help wanted, all sorts of things to help me out.

Much better than anything they could have bought.

Yes in deed. Happy Mother's day to all. Enjoy your kids for they grow up so fast. Not just today but everyday. Here is a poem I would like to share on this mother's day.

Babies Don't Keep
Cleaning and scrubbing
Can wait till tomorrow,
For babies grow up
We've learned to our sorrow.

So quiet down cobwebs,
Dust go to sleep,

I'm rocking my baby.
And babies don't keep.

Here's another one that was given to my husband from his mom.

To My Grown Up Son
My hands were busy through the day. I didn't have much time to play, the little games you asked me to. I didn't have much time for you. I'd wash your clothes, I'd sew and cook but when you'd bring your picture book and ask me please to share your fun I'd say a little later son. I'd tuck you in all safe at night, I'd hear your prayers, I'd turn out the light then tip toe out the door. I wish I'd stayed a minute more. For life is short the years rush past, a little boy grows up fast. No longer is he at your side, his precious secrets to confide. The picture books are put away, there are no longer games to play. No good night kiss, no prayers to hear, all that belongs to yesteryear. My hands once busy, now are still, the days are long and hard to fill. I wish I could go back and do, the things you asked me to.

Sorry if these made anyone sad. That is not what it was intended for. Just wanted to remind those young mom's or mom's with young kids that life is short enjoy them while you have them.
