No conway buckles involved here. The end goes through the loop on the other end and tightnes aroung the bit ring.

ive used hatler/bridal combos for years and ive never really seen one like that with the reins...lol

I know. All that I have used came with barrel racing type reins, only longer.

okey here are pictures





now this is the chin starp how the heck do i attach it to the bit or did i do it right?




now here is the first picture I took
the side peices are now attached to the side of the halter bridle thingy and
the bottom peice is attached to the bit

the silver things not the buckle itself but the other silver things I had to take some of those off
was I supposed to?

I would have left those little silver thingys on. They help to hold the bridle pieces together. See in he top picture how they are apart right above the bit? That piece holds it together. You need to put the bridle on the horse to get the chin strap the correct length.

Also I would do both snaps where the part you pull down faces away from the cheek.
