half-seat?

In May I'm going to go to a hunter/jumper schooling show (Sugar's first show). For the canter, should I ride in a half-seat or sit? I haven't taken lessons in a long time so I'm really rusty on the right equitation and all. What other things should I be sure to do in a h/j show (for equitation)?

Don't do a half seat. Since hunters ride sitting more forward at the trot and canter then just 'tilt' yourself forward a little bit, but stay in the saddle.
