Half chaps - which ones have the best s-t-r-e-t-c-h??

I desperately need some new half chaps. Mine have gone missing after a major horse show - there's no telling where they've gone off too - I'm still finding things a week later.

I have freakishly large calves, and long, long legs - so this is no easy feat.

Can someone share their experience with half chaps and point me in the direction of those that s-t-r-e-t-c-h generously beyond what the size charts show??

My old ones were this awesome neoprene/leather material from JustChaps UK, and I could order those again, but it will take forever to get them. Hopefully y'all can point me to something I can get *quickly*!

How big is your calf? I have 18" calves, and I got some half chaps from Schneiders that I LOVE and fit wonderfully OVER my jeans. They were only $30 and have held up extremely well. I need a new pair because of two years of very heavy use the zipper finally busted.

I have very big calves as well and I finally found some that I love. Although I've lost a bit of weight recently and now they are a touch big but not bad. I've also had and liked ariat all-around half chaps and they worked great as well.
