MTG is supposed to help regrow hair. www.shapleys.com.

As of today, I am a true believer in MTG! My horse had a big bite mark on him that happened in the beginning of July. I left it alone, figuring it would eventually grow back, but then had the brilliant idea to put MTG on it on Sunday. Today I was looking him over carefully and realized that the hair had completely grown back. I am in shock and awe. I mean, I heard the stuff worked, but in 4 days?! Yeah, its true. The spot had no hair whatsoever on Sunday and now is hardly noticeable. Its hard to make me believe in products, but I'm definitely convinced!

I have put it in my horse's tail though, and haven't noticed any growth...but my horse's mission in life is to rip his tail out, and mine is to make it grow, so we are in a constant conflict and I feel like we're not getting anywhere!

MTG works great for just about any skin related issue. The only downside is it can make the horse's hair greasy and smells like bacon grease. xD

I have heard that preparation H helps hair to grow back faster. I tried it for a few weeks and saw some growth but am now on vacation so I have no idea. But i have a friend that swears by it.
I also have used mtg and it worked really well when my mare went completely bald inbetween shedding out and regrowth.
