Hair Falling Out?

Alright, so my paint's mane has been falling out, a few pieces at a time. It's not big chunks or anything, but I can't even run my fingers through any of it, without a few pieces coming loose. Her mane/tail look very healthy, and so does she. No fungus, or anything. Yes, I know it is normal for hair to pull lose while brushing and such, but it's not just that. If I look, there's always ten or so strands that have already fallen out, and are just waiting to fall to the ground. Again, not big chunks, but she doesn't have super long hair to begin with; I don't like the fact that strands keep coming loose on their own. A few of the other horses, I've noticed, are doing that too. (A 6yr. TB, and a 29yr. QH) I haven't looked closely at any of the others.
Same thing is happening to her tail too.
Normally I can brush and no hair comes out; now it's just waiting there, already out.
Oh, and I have been using MTG, but it's less than the label suggests, and less often, plus it isn't being used on any of the other horses who's hair seems to be coming loose, so I'm thinking it's not the MTG.
Thanks for responses, and sorry if this is a common thing that I just haven't noticed for years.

Yep, it's been warm for a month or two. 80 degrees yesterday... I just never noticed anyone's mane and tail hair shedding out like the coat.

Manes and tails will shed some of the dead old hairs later than your body shedding. They are just slower at it. My hair is falling out also (yes humans go through a shed period as well.) but its not like I am going bald.

If its just a few hairs coming out I would not be that worried about it. Its normal.
