Haflinger pronunciation

Ok, so now I feel like I am saying it wrong. I heard a woman talking about them (very knowledgeable lady) and she pronounced it haff-lieng-er (don't laugh at how I spelled that, I was trying to spell how it was pronounced).

I do too, but now I feel like I am saying it wrong. Also, I was watching another show on TV and they said equine with the first e being a short e. It's no big deal, just curious

I can never figure out how to pronounce Akhal Teke. But then I've never actually heard anyone SAY it before. Well before the last show i was at and i sat there and was like "Huh..i guess I've never thought about how that's pronounced." But you'd think if someone could afford one they'd know how to pronounce it no matter how weird it sounds. Right?

Sillyfilly That's like one of my favorite breeds!! So I've learned that it's like this:

Ah-hal Tek-yuh

I was so excited when I finally learned how to say it.

Iv always said it Half-linger. I think that how it sounds... I say it so quickly that Im not even sure... it gets mumbled.

Iv always said Ak-all Teak... but I know thats wrong... I have a friend that knows a breeder of them and she says it COMPLETELY different.

Good because it's the correct way I only know this because I had to call the Haflinger registry and that is how they were all pronouncing it.
