So... the vet came out today, it was only for routine injections (Flu and Tetnus) but it's the first time we've had Troy injected and i was really worried how he'd react. I thought he would blow up and just act really stupid just because he's that type of horse but he was absolutley fine, never even flinched. He even watched the needle going in!

I also asked about his back, i've been worried that there may be something wrong with it, she hardly even checked it. I wasn't happy! She said it's probably just that he's getting used to us, but to me he has all the symptoms of maybe having something wrong.... i dunno. He's having another injection in a month so i'm going to insist on having the vet i usually have and get him to check it. I normally ask for one of two vets, they're the best i know of, but they weren't avaliable so they sent a different one... who seemed like she had no idea what she was talking about!!
I'm starting to rant now so i'll stop lol.

Glad to hear Troy was a brave boy for the needle! LOL My vet was also worried about how my colt would react to getting blood drawn...turns out he'll just stand there perfectly still...unlike the 10 year...LOL
