had a GREAT jumping session today!

well dressage with strider has been Fabulous these past 6 months. BUt the show that started all the dressage happieness I won which was cool. but on the second jump of the sj course he refused and knocked a rail on he retake.I had taken Strider for a horse who NEVER refused He has refused twice in the 3 years I have been riding him and NEVER knocked a rail. I felt terrible! We still won but I was just so shocked. Well ever since his jumping style had gone steadily downhill. no more refusals or rails but just overjumping hanging popping that sort of thing

well today I was just out by myself in the field with my dad at the fence and was doing cross country (with a vest ) and he did fantastic! all these trees fell because of the hurricane and we just made em into jumps well today he was fabulous. so responsive didnt rush at all.

He jumped every thing perfectly even the 3'3 combonation which he has been having alot of trouble with. No popping no overjumping no hanging so we went and took some sj fences and made up a course. H e has a lot of trouble with sj because he can't make big turns. but they ewere so sharp and again no popping ect... it was great. Definetly ready for shows all our practice is finally paying off!
