| Senior Member | Hackamores - info, info, please....
Hackamores - do you like them? Do they work? Are they expensive? Okay, I'll cut the questions. I'm just really interested in them.... Sometimes I ride my pony with only a halter and lead rope, but really, she doesn't listen very well that way....... How does a hackamore work? I DO use a bridle with Rain, but she doesn't like the bit, and I know that hackamores are bitless, and I was thinking of looking them up.... Info, please?

my daughters morgan/qh rides in a sidepull because she can get her tongue over the bit faster than you can blink. Im not real familar with the different types of hackamores but I know some can be severe. I really like the sidepull and Mokie seems to respond well to it. I cant access photobucket from work but heres a link to my jack group and a picture of Mokie with the sidepull http://groups.msn.com/JackRusselland...o&PhotoID=2133
