H/J Peeps...I need your help!

I have a h/j show at the end of the month that i want to put Storm in, but I need some help with the classes. When they say Equitation Trot X: what do you do?
Equitation Trot on the Flat: is when you trot around and do what the judge askes right?

Equitation classes are judged on the rider, not the horse. They want to see good form, heels down, shoulders back, a smile on your face, good bend in your elbow and a pleasent picture over all. Trot Eq is typically for green riders. It typically means its w/t only, no canter (for novices).

Eq Trot X is not something I'm familiar with.... it doesn't say in the show bill?

Yeah, I would imagine Trot Eq is just a rail class w/t on the flat. The trot X is probably just a mini course of cross rails, which should be posted day of the show, just like it would be in a jumper class.

Its a schooling show, not USEA or the like, so they don't necessarily have standard guidelines. There is absolutely nothing wrong with calling and asking to make sure!
