Guy or gal here?

Ok, I know who some of you are.....but, some of you.....your screen names are throwing me off. I was hoping you could tell the forum if you are a guy or girl - and your age.

One more thing, just out of curiosity, how or where did you learn sooo much about horses? (a bad accident is about to happen with these horses running towards each other, haha!)

Thank you "muy macho!"

I'm Brittany and I'm a 16 year olds and I'm a girl. I learned about horses through books, lessons, my sister, my instructor, watching people ride, and through my own mistakes and others mistakes. Nothing like learning from a good fall or two! lol. I ride Hunter/Jumper and Dressage and will soon be adding Eventing to that list. I've been around horses since I was 5 and I started riding when I was 10. I lease an 11 year old Thoroughbred named Ollie who I will be buying *crosses fingers* in August.

My name is Kimberly. I'm 25 years old and I live in West Michigan. I've been around horses on and off since I was born. I have been riding hunter/jumper on and off since I was 12. I've owned horses for almost 3 years now. I've learned almost everything I know from trainers, barn managers, and other equine professionals. I've also learned a TON from the very knowledgable "family" here on HGS.
