Its like a spoon with two sides you swirl around in hot water then you have tea ?

Something used in the old days to put hot coles(sp?) In, then they put it under the sheets to keep you warm? I forgot what its called...... A bed warmer?

You got it!! It's a victorian bed warmer!

Hot coals were placed inside and it was rubbed under the sheets to heat them up for the sleeper.
