GRULLA! How to pronounce? HELP!

I am riding a great looking grulla gelding this evening (for possible purchase), and I am not positive I know how to pronouce it.... Grew-Ya?

I'm pretty sure that's how you're supposed to say it...in my mind I always say "grool-a" but I know that's not right.

Actually, it is grew-ya It's hispanic, and a double "L", as in "lla", is a "ya" sound. Grulla or Grullo, depending on your preference.

AQHA told me it is Grew-Yo

is the actual pronunciation of it. Most people call it Grew-Ya

Yeah, Grew-ya, or Grew-yo is how you're actually supposed to say it, but around here people always pronounce the ll's, grew-la, grew-lo, so I usually say it like that too, because if you say it without the ll's people look at you like you're an idiot, lol.
