Talking GRRR!! GP Saddles!! What should i do!?

At the moment, i'm very mad at my saddle lol *shoots evil glare at it*.

When i got my saddle about 1 1/2 years ago, i was kinda the young girl getting into competition and doing a little bit of low-level everything. A few ODES at intro/pre training level. Ribbon days at Novice level and no dressage competitions.

Now,i've established what i want to do. Dressage/Show Jumping and a bit of Eventing.

My GP has become so uncomfrotable to ride in over the bigger stuff!! My instrctor is always telling me i need to get a CC. And i have found one:

Wintec 500 jumping.

My saddle at the moment looks and feels like a dressage saddle. But it is a Wintec 500 Wide which is designed for ermm....how to put this nicely..."Roly and Round" horses like Moth! So the Wintec 500 JUmping,is pretty much the same as the wide, just not as wide. But the saddle fitter said Moth would cope with a saddle like that.

So should i sell my GP(it is still in excellent condition and only 18 months old) for aboout $700 and get my CC. Then a couple of Months later, get a dressage saddle? Or should i keep my GP which is sorta similar to a dressage saddle and buy that CC?

I would get a hold of a wintec CC first for a trial and see if you and Moth are comfortable with it first.

What type is it? Moth is like extra extra wide 17.5inch. Does your saddle fall into that category?lol

I show against several people with the Wintec. I swear, for the longest time, I thought it was leather.

They've even competed at Pinto World with them and done WELL.

I would sell your GP, buy the CC then get a dressage saddle when you can afford it. No point having a saddle you arent comfotable in and then buying a CC and still just using a GP for dressage lol.... if that made any sense
