I'm with momof5. What do you mean by controlling?? I have 3 - ages 16, 13 and 11. Mom definition of controlling and yours may be totally different I'd like more info if you don't mind

Yep, need an example or two.
A controlling mother IMO - would set certain times that you can use the bathroom.
Or another good one would be "you have to stay in bed in the morning until I leave the house for work"
Thats a good one. I don't think I will ever forget that one.

It also depends on your age as well, Mothers are entitled to control your life until you are legally able to do it yourself. Such is the glory and woe of being a mom. (it sucks to be the kid too, we all have been there)

Honey it might suck now, but once your mom is gone, you will want to go back and let her tell you what to do again. Just smile and say yes mom! I love you!!!!!!!!!!1 Wish I could let her controll me again, I would gladly say yes mom!!!!!!!!

As long as I pay all the bills, I get the control

If my kids are of age and out of the house, then they are the ones with a problem if they give me the ability to control their lives. Hopefully, they'll have enough gumption to stand up for what they want out of life by their adult years.

depends what you consider "controlling" she is a mom and you should respect that. she loves you you know she only wants the best for you. in a few years you will be thanking her for everything she made you listen to and see the reasoning for her rules.
