Slick 'n easy is more grippy on loose hair and dirt, but the Groomers Stone lasts longer.

The problem I've found with Slick n easy is that it crumbles into big black chunks when you rub it on the concrete to "refresh" it... the Groomers stone handles more like pumice stones that people use.

I have both - use both...it's all a matter of whichever is handy, for me.

I use slick N easy, and it does a pretty good job of holding up unless I am carless with it (IE throwing it in the bottom of my grooming bag, leaving it lying around, etc). It is only 3 bucks to replace it anyway, so I take my chances. hehe It does AN AWESOME job of getting dried mud off my piggy horse though.

How cute!

I just bought a slick and easy block a couple days ago, so tommorrow will be the true test when I use it on the horse i'm leasing.
