Normal Grooming Tote that I actually 'tote':
Hard brush, soft brush, shed blade, Oster curry (love that thing!), slick block, hoof picks, sand paper, hoof polish, mini clippers, scissors, mane combs, rubberbands, detangler, gel hilighter (for photo shots ) and a handful of clean rags (and some not so clean ones) for wiping on fly spray or whatever. (there's usually some hay, dirt and horse cookies in there somewhere too by design or not...)

Then I also am the queen of spray bottles. I like to buy the concentrated stuff and mix my own...so I have a Vetrolin (low strength, just to spray on after a workout), Laser Sheen, mane conditioner diluted to use as detangler, a couple different fly sprays, my spray bottle of thrush treatment, Vetrolin Green Spot quick wash stuff, Vetrolin Shine...thats all I can think of at the moment lol

Then in the "Bath Bucket" I just use a big feed bucket. Keep my shampoos (Vetrolin, Quicksilver, TeaTree), sweat scraper, sponges and Conditioner (even though I dont actually use it with a bath) in it.

THEN last but not least I have a little bucket that I keep my wonder dust, vet cream, vetwrap, sterile bandages/pads, duct tape, electrical tape, betadine, hydrogen peroxide and other first aid stuff in.

Things that aren't actually in a bucket, but are tossed haphazardly in the box, extra reins, stirrup keepers, feed supplements, horse cookies, peppermints, weight tape, longe line, extra buckets, tail wraps, perm marker (writing my name on everything because I leave things everywhere)...

Things I realized I should add after reading other people's lists and going "hey good idea!"
Band Aids, sunscreen, list of vets/book of meds etc (thats a good one BW!), a pen & paper, bottled water (usually in my car, but would probably stay cooler in the barn!), human pain killers...

I just had to clean my stuff out. It was icky!
In my "everyday" tote, I now have: Stiff body brush, Rubber curry, Hoof pick w/ brush, Soft body brush, Mane & tail comb, Baby shampoo, Horse shampoo, and a hose nozzle.
In my horse trailer in a bucket I have stuff like: Vaseline, Peroxide, Band-Aides, Gauze pads, an Easy boot, Sponges, and a Betadine scrub.

I keep an insane amount of glitter in mine. Muahaha! I would keep my horse's fancy headresses, but I'm afraid someone would steal them. I also have hairspray, sunblock, chap stick, treats, and all the usual stuff.

Talking i heart grooming supplies...

In my actual grooming box, I have...
  • a rubber curry comb
  • a shedding blade/metal curry comb
  • soft brush
  • medium-hard brush
  • hoofpick with little brush
  • lots of little rags and towels
  • little face brush
  • mane and tail comb
  • tail brush
  • an Epona All-Purpose Grooming Mitt (makes my paint's whites super white!)
  • a jelly scrubber
In another box that stays mostly in my tack room, but holds other essentials...
  • fly spray
  • anti-fungal/anti-bacterial spray
  • Cowboy Magic Greenspot Remover
  • Corona Ointment
  • Furall aerosol spray
  • shampoo and conditioner
  • more rags and towels
There's more, I'm sure, but I'm having a hard time remembering...

I just got a tote bag at Home Depot that's made for carrying tools but is awesome for a grooming bag. It's sort of like a canvas duffel bag, but the top is reinforced to it stays open, then it has little pockets all over on the outside, and it has a shoulder strap for carrying. It also came with a cell phone case that clips on a belt, and is a perfect fit for the cordless Wahl clippers. Anyway, I'm excited, I had to tell someone about it! :P

Anyway, in this Wunderbag, I have:

Polos
Bell boots
Hoof picks
Slick N' Easy
Hoof Dressing
Corona Ointment
Schreiner's Solution (amazing stuff!)
2 stiff brushes
1 medium brush
1 soft brush
Soft rubber face curry
Uni-Groom curry
Curry mitt
Plastic comb
Big paddle type hairbrush
Pulling comb
Mini sweat scraper
Cowboy Magic
Cordless clippers
Swat fly ointment
Wound Cream (made by the Mane N Tail people)
Fly Spray (well, I took it out for the winter)
