Greenie... and just wondering...

Training with my horse is going good. Hasnt been the most frequent or consistent because of work, but yesterday was her 2nd trailride and she seems to be doing wonderfully. It was sort of long but not too bad, and she was very forward and enjoyed trotting at the head of the pack. (as i said before, very forward)
Afterwards i felt her legs and brushed her and her legs felt good, not hot. But i may be getting overly paranoid, at the end i thought i felt her take some lame steps, or rather unbalanced steps that could be lame.. i didnt really follow up on that and i know i should have..
I'll be going up tomorrow and plan on doing some freework. i figured if there were any problems they could be seen in the trot, but i just wanted some tips on what to look for in case it was something wrong. Like i said her legs felt fine but.. maybe she just hit a rock and her feet are sore.. i have no idea. (could just be an overly worried mommy)
Tips are welcome
