Thats fine Trace, I too have had BCs, and you can see Sis in my gallery.

I have been to many BC trials and seen a lot of tops in their field dogs, "talk" when at work, along the lines of a good foxhound

Everything from a low growl to a yip, depending on where in the "job" they were . Sis did work at the local airfield rounding up geese off the runway.
When working sheep, she was much more quiet in her voice, and when working geese she was much louder, as they responded to her better that way. She figured this out on her own.

It is not uncommon for a working dog to use their "voice" when needed.
That dog , was working.

They definitely need a better panel of judges. 2 magazine editors and a celebrity dog trainer who doesn't even own a dog...well I think they could have done better for sure LOL

I don't think Andrew is that focused, I think he just has a "screw you" attitude and likes to ignore people LOL!!! I thought it was hilarious when he got away from JD to find his mama, if somebody was talking to me in that stupid voice I would run away too LOL!!!

I looooove Presley and think he will be awesome when he matures a bit! With the three that are left for the finale, I think Galaxy SHOULD win but I bet Andrew will due to the judge's preferences and bias against JD's training methods.

I agree Jess, Gal richly deserves to win, and as for their bias, HEY his training works right? the proof is in the pudding! That dog also adores him.

Andrew..

I agree that some do talk when working - but his was over the top and she should have corrected it.

I will have to take a look at Sis. I have a 12 year and a 10 month old.
