It was a great show. I won first in everything, I mean really it was my day. And i was competing against some girls, we had a really nice judge too, so I was happy about that. Blaze was a darling, and I think it was because I haven't ridden since fair, and it was a refreshing thing not to have a horse show every weekend, I think that is what made him so grumpy sometimes. So I won the daily highpoint for English & Western. I was super thrilled. I needed to do good in this show, because I'm missing the last one in Sept to go to Disney World!


all was good until..... we were driving home. So ok, we were almost home I spot a FUNNEL Cloud, and it is about to touch down. So we unloaded really fast, and came inside, and in the matter it took him to walk through my garage (because I glanced at the funnel before I went into my garage), and to the door, it had already touched down. It was scary. Come to find, it was one of MANY funnel clouds, and tornadoes going on. And apparently there was a big one that touched down RIGHT where the horse show was, just less than an hour after we left. I'm pretty sure there was still people when we left the horse show, so I hope they are ok. It is so scary, and freaky the weather can get in just an hour. We had like 3 funnels around our house. There was a tornado ON the ground, headed towards our house, and another BIG one that hadn't reached the ground yet but almost had. I tried to get the best pictures I could of it, but when I can I'll upload the video. So it was definitely was interesting day! But we couldn't have gotten home at a better time, it was like perfect timing.

The tornado, you have to look real close to see the tornado. This was the big tornado that was about a half hour away from us so it doesn't look so scary, but there was others just by our house.

Congrats! Sounds like you had an awesome show.

And about the tornado......glad you are okay! Let us know what happened to the poor people still there at the show when the weather hit.

I would have fainted if i was still at the show and saw it. I am super scared of tornadoes, I start having a panic attack.

Wow, great pictures and to think I thought I had a bad end to my day showing by losing the truck keys! I will take having to search for keys over having to dodge a tornado any day!!

Good job at the show! Having a good day sure does boost your confidence doesn't it!!
