Great reward... update on my new mare!

If you have read my previous post you know that I got a new mare yesterday, a 2 year old Arab who hasn't really been handled that much.
Well, I must say when I went back to the barn this am I was a little nervous! Watching her made me think 'oh no. what have I gotten myself into?!' Boy was I in for a suprise!!!
I had a FANTASTIC first day with her! Basically today all I did was play. I spent sometime in the round-pen petting and touching her. I groomed and fussed over her for hours. Its amazing the bond I can feel us developing already! She went from dancing all over the place to standing perfectly still to let me groom and pet in less than an hour!
By the time I left her to herself I could approach her without her getting nervous and pretty much get my hands all over her (still a little nervous about the legs)
I am estatic!
Thanks for reading my ramblings! I will post new pics when the weather is better. Too yucky to get anything good today!

awww that's great that your bonding all ready just keep working at it, and everything will click together for you and her,
