[Cool Time 84]

Some of you know about my 29mo old filly. Sugar, others dont. We've decided to put her up for sale. We're in no hurry to sell her, but we'd like to try to sell her to a show home.

She is 3/4 TWH and 1/4 QH

Sugar was born here on our place. She's an awesome filly, she's smart as a whip and has loads of potential. Nothing you CANT do with her. She's BIG and LEGGY and LOVES TO JUMP. She stands for farrier (never been shod, but has been trimmed) bathes, loads, clips, you name it. Loves people, but does have some baby 'sass' in her. She recently jumped 5ft. Though it was over the pasture fence and we didnt WANT her to do it. But she did it well and cleared it beautifully (if only there'd been a camera) We intend to start Free Jumping her once the weather clears.
She is broke to ride, though is still green. She does well on trails, and is very well mannered for her age.

We are asking $5000 for her. The price is pretty firm, but to the right home my parents may consider lowering it.

She has CHAMPIONS in her pedigree. She's a steal, and she's a real nice filly... just looking for someone to help her shine.

I guess it would help if I mentioned more about what has been done with this filly. So here goes.

She has had alot of ground training: She line drives, lounges, she's real easy to handle in the barn. Is a bit pushy in the stall because she always wants attention when you're in there, but she'll back off if you make her understand you want her on the other side.

She's been broken to bit, although she has an extremely sensitive mouth and I cannot find one she can be ridden in. I'm thinking of trying KK Ultra (if I can ever afford it)... and see house she does.. the bit that's in her mouth in the pictures is an O-Ring Snaffle, she WILL work in that bit, she she doesn't perform well at all.... so she is ridden in a Training Cavesson (bitless bridle) similar to a Bosal, only it's a waxed-rope noseband instead of the actually BOSAL noseband..and she performs wonderfully in it...
She has been trail ridden and does excellent, though she's a bit prissy about mud puddles, she'd rather walk around them than through them, but we're working on that. She will cross streams and creeks, but right now it does take some prodding to get her into the water (she's still green).

She is very well gaited. Never paced a day in her life. She IS high headed, so she would not be good for English Pleasure/HUS not only because of her gaits but she doens't stretch out. She would be wonderful for Jumping or for Saddle Seat, and she also is quick on her feet could be used for Cow work or for Barrel Racing/Contesting... but I think she'd be best at Jumping.. since she enjoys it so much... and she's got nice form (the few times I've seen her jump) She's only been ridden over one jump and that was by accident and only a small log, my dad's horse bumped her and She jumped the log to get away from him. She did it rather nicely, but with training she'll be MUCH better.

Riding Reaper, if you're truely interested please PM me. She is a wonderful filly. I'm moving and wont be able to take her with me (she's my mothers filly) and mom's not sure she can give her what she deserves the most, and that's show ring spotlight. She's got loads of talent.

im sorry but i would like to know WHY you were on her at ONLY a year and a half????

you could ruin the growth of their bones by breaking them and riding them that young.
