Great Lesson Yesterday! [Penny photos and videos!!]

I will start off by saying I love my horse. A ridiculous amount. She is such a saint and is all that I wanted and more in a horse.

We had a fantastic lesson yesterday.. We started with flat work, and she was really good.. Soft and listening very well. We then did a some cavaletti work, and then moved on to jumping..

Trainer had gymnastics set up with six jumps in them total.. We started off with them all very small, and ended up around 3'3" for some of them. I have not really jumped in a very long time, and I have only jumped small cross rails with my horse. She was absolutely amazing.. Completely took care of me, and put up with some interesting riding by me.. I am very weak, and the fences seemed huge to me. I was kind of questioning trainer on letting me jump these, I knew Penny could, but I didn't want to mess her up or something.. Haha.

I know I have a lot of issues with my riding, but I am working on fixing them.

She seems like a wonderful mare. I like her alot, she seems to take alot of care of her rider! Gymnastics are a challenge sometime. You both look great though!

i love penny when i read the title im like "PENNY" i was so excited!! shes so pretty! You and her make a great team!

She is such a wonderful horse! Thank you! She really takes care of me, she is such a saint! Gymnastics are a challenge, especially if you haven't really ever done them, and you haven't really jumped in a long time. Thank you so much!

Haha! They lock the gates of the barn, and you would have to drive in past the grooms' houses, so you better be pretty crafty to get in! Haha.

*picks jaw up from ground* Penny is SOOOO georgous! She looks like Pilgrim off of The Horse Whisperer, does she not??? You are a great rider btw!! You both are on the way to the Grand Prix i know it!
