Great cutting horse

So, I am back, finally. It was a long week without you guys! I really missed my husband, and of course, all of my animals. So, as soon as I could I went out to ride.
I figured that he would have his little snorty-tantrum moment, because he likes to pretend that he is a wild horse when he hasn't been messed with in a few days (I think it's his way of telling me that he needs to be the center of attention), which he did. But then we started riding as usual. Then, Shotgun decided that he really wanted to be a cutting horse. I think that he was trying to guess what I was going to ask him to do, instead of just listening to me. He was being awful, we would get going, and then he would just stop and spin and start going the other direction. He did this in every gate, and let me tell you, it wasn't easy to ride! My friend was shouting instructions at me, I was getting so frustrated, so I told her to get on, see if it was just me. No, it wasn't just me. He did the same thing with her, only she fell off. We just rode him through it, and eventually, he started listening again. It was very frustrating, but I guess that I learned one thing, I have a really great cutting horse!

I'm sorry, but I'm laughing because I'm just picturing you in a field, with your horse spinning in circles! I know it can be frustrating.
