GREAT bathing Shampoo

Hey guys, I just thought I'd share with you this little tid bit to *hopefully* make your bathing fears go all away!!

I just found this GREAT bath shampoo. It's called Orvus (Wa Paste). It comes in like a square container. At a certain temperature it's hard, and at another it's liquid, either way it works the same.. (maybe you've heard of it?).

Both of my mares have alot of white on them (one is a Chestnut with a blaze and 3 white socks.. the other is a red dun with 4 which socks), and I've always had a hard time keeping their socks white. Not only does this stuff REALLY do the job, it also rinses out REALLY easily.

Before, I would put just a TINY bit of soap in their manes and tails, only to spend hours trying to rinse it out (welllllllll maybe not hours but... lol).

Well, I hope this may help some people! I definitely Recommend it! =).

And I like the fact that you don't have to use a lot of it. Just a little bit goes a long way.

I have used that before, but I am one of those smelly shampoo lovers! It does work quite well, but I am partial to my Eqyss Shampoo right now. It does remove the dirt very well, and I am always shocked in the winter to see it solid! Glad you like it!

Orvus is so hard on their coat. It is very abrasive. It works good but will dry their coats out. Plus it is very hard to rinse out.

Thumbs up

Orvus Fan here!!!
I have used it for years with no problems.
If your having trouble rinsing it out then you are probably using too much...try using less....a little goes a LONG ways!

I do not shampoo all the time...preferring to simply horse off. Shampooing is saved for the first bath after winter shedding is well underway.... pre-show preparation... and if the horse happens to pick up a stain or is really dirty!
Still, I have never had a problem with Orvus and highly recommend it!
