Talking Great, another mule around. *I may have changed my mind!

What is a baby mule called? Anyways, I am excited about having the possibility of a foal around here, but a MULE foal? Dave bought his mule Moon last fall, and he is loving him. He wants to breed his mare Lady to our friends jack. He loves Lady's temperament and her build, and he likes how strong mules are and how long they can keep going. All that I can think of is another big thing that can't decide if it should whinny like a horse, or bray like an ***. Man, when he told me this two weeks ago, I thought he was joking!

EDIT: I met the jack, he is sooooo great! He is as calm, if not calmer than my gelding. He is the sweetest thing, he will come right up to the fence to greet you. He is nice and small, only about 14.2 or so. OMG, I am in LOVE!!!!!!!! And Lady was bred today, so lets hope we have a baby on the way!

I would rather breed to a horse of any breed than too a donkey lol, i guess it depends if you are breeding for a certain purpose.

a baby mule is called a foal same as a horse. They are SOOO CUTE Also.

Mules are funny in their voice. none of them have the same voice pattern. some sound more horse like, some sound more donkey like, some squeek. We had one we named squeeky because of that. and some just grunt. My mule just grunts. She's not loud at all.

I like mules! Sometime I might have my mare bred to a donkey. I think mules are CUTE!

Not only are mules adorable, but get excited about this one

Mules excell in every dicipline a horse can. They can go for miles on the hardest trails, have excelent work ethic and when you have your bond, will put their lives on the line for you. They are much more intellegent are harder to train. Mules remember...

My friends mule cleared a 6' fence when he was just plain board of being in the arena. Granted, he's bred on his horsey side for jumping, but imagine that.

While I don't mind mules, I don't think that they can excel in every disipline a horse can.....
