Grease covered filly!!! HELP!!!

My 4 month old light grey filly found a wonderful scratching post.... My husbands 5th wheel of his 18 wheeler dump trailer..... Wouldn't have been a bad spot if it hadn't been freshly COVERED in grease!!! So, now I have a black and grey filly. She has it on her neck, her back and her butt!!! It is just caked on her butt!!! And of course, she is only 4 months old and is not really going to tolerate us scrubbing her skin off!!! LOL Does anyone have any suggestions that will help loosen up the grease without harming her???

Dawn dish soap. They even have a concentrated formula. I have used it to relase burrs from manes and tails in the past with no side effects.

Nah, she'll be fine... load it into a power washer, stand at the other end of the pasture and spray.

you are safe with dish soap but if you are really worried you can use Ivory- not as grease cutting as Dawn but works wonders on horses and has more natural ingredients.

BTW- Dawn blue dish soap kills fleas on dogs- works great for that as well

Dawn is what they use to get oil off of wildlife in oil spills, so I definately think it would work. I think I might try one of the foamer type sprayers they have for ezall or eq solutions.
