That is the one I use and it is very good. The only difference is that I have the one that is removable from the halter. It is easy to clean and a good choice

It's a good one, yes. www.americanlivestock.com has the Weaver brand for about 1/2 the price and just about as good quality.

Awesome JB! I'm not going to replace the one I have with anything but that weaver one. It looks great and the price is awesome. Thanks for the link!!

My friend sells the Weavers and another brand that is just as good. The Weaver has a breakaway crown piece, the other is less money and has a breakaway buckle. But for the price, you can barely tell the difference. Everyone is very pleased with it, she can barely keep it in stock....but it only comes in horse size.

Sue B, my horse is a TWH, so he's got a big old head :-)

I tried the link and it didn't work.

Sorry, try this link....
https://host440.ipowerweb.com/~russo...merce/catalog/

The cheaper muzzle is the one to the right in the center of the page...the model is my friend's TWH...the other muzzle next to it is a Weaver.

Just make sure it is put on correctly....if it is loose they can get it off!!! There should be about an inch between the horse and the muzzle..

well a friend at my barn has that and the horse can drink out of it, but he can't eat out of it no matter how hard he tries. We thought maybe the grass was too long so we tried him on shorter grass and he still couldn't eat out of it. Maybe this is just this one horse though. Just thought I'd give you a past experience.
