"Grand Prix Elite Half Chaps" - anyone have these?

I tried finding them on TackReview and couldn't find them. How do they compare, in quality, to the top-line of the Grand Prix half chaps?

I have those half chaps. They run really small. I wear a small in the Ariat and took a large in the Elite's. The top part is getting kind of big but the rest of the chap still fits my 13 1/2"-13 3/4" calf. They are a few months old now. They are not nearly on par with the top-of -the-line half chaps but I bought them because they fit over my boot cut jeans and my Ariats didn't.

So...do you think they're a good half chap for the price? Or should I hold out and save up some more $ for the Tredsteps or the other Grand Prixs?

I think they are a pretty good deal. Just beware of the sizing. I just happened to try on a pair at the tackstore thinking they might be tall enough but way too big in the calf. I was surprised by how well they fit me based on the sizing chart on the package (a bit perplexing).

Thanks for the info! That IS really, really weird. I might pop into the new Dover in Jersey next week, just to see if I can try on a pair instead of ordering them.

That is probably a good idea.
