When I say I will feed grain to my horses I usually mean stuff like oats, oats barley mix, but then I am from Canada, and grain means grain.

Shadow...pellets are grain...just highly compressed. So technically everyone is still being correct.

I feed agrain thats mainly rolled oats, a little cracked corn, and some little alfalfa pellots in it with vitamins added to it. It has just a reak little bit of mollases in it for a shiny, healthy coat.
