gracie tried to KILL ME! AH!

Literaly, i walked into her stall, and started petting her, and she longed at me with her teeth (tried to SERIOUSLY bite me) well, i smacked her one with a lead rope (on the neck, i was thinking about ehr face, but i didn't want to do more harm than good) do you think this is from people petting her and letter her nip and get away with it?

Thanks!

WHOA!!!! Big No, No!!! Yea, it could be that she's horsing or she's getting too many treats!!! I'd find out the root of the problem and go from there!!! Thank goodness she didn't get ya!!! I would've cracked her too with the lead rope, but not in the face. Just enough to get her attention.

Where you the ONLY one riding her? Are you riding her more often than before? It could be that your riding her more often that she is getting sour about it and lashing out. She might be getting grouchy because of it, that is a pretty strong action she just did. Very disrespectful too. I suggest doing lots of groundwork. Amira was like that when I first got her. But with some work and time she turned around.

Good you figured it out But that is still a very mean thing she did. Like I said, groundwork would help loads!
