Gracie should be an endurance horse! LOL

My friend and me went trail riding the other day (sunday). And, gracie in GREAT shape. Heres a descriptions of what we did:

Started on the trail, within first few hundred feet crossed a creek and climped up the bank, very steep LOL (but good footing!) then we trotted down a winding path, there were some small logs to jump (12'') and we did. Then, theres a long long stretch to gallop on, we slowly started to canter and then i let her go FULL OUT, that was great. Soon, there was a fallen tree, about 2' high, my friend said that gracie should be fine going over it, she was right, we FLEW over it. Good thing i was in my english saddle . Then there was a small forest type thing, we trotted threw it. After that we came up on the willamette river and we decided to go in. (not to deep though, like, 10'' at most) and then, we left there and went on more trails along the river. Well, we soon parted from the river, but after, we saw this beautiful sandish island in the river, we wanted to get over there. BUT there was a 12' slope in our way. I of course went first, gracie slid a bit then hopped down. It was great. Then another little tiny slope (3') we jumped down onto the sand, we played there for a while, I checked gracie, she wasn't even hot! So, then went back home. We went back up both banks, the bigger one worried me, but we made it back safely.

Amazingly enough, gracie hadn't broken a sweat! WOW!

Just thought i'd share

Nope, shes way old, but my next horse will be an eventer, I wishi could event with her, but all that jumping could really hurt her legs (She's 24) So i only really jump for lessons and trails

I rode 17 miles yesterday. Anna was sweaty, but not bad.

Try gracie at an Endurance ride.
